Shine is our current collaboration with Kilpatrick School and West Dunbartonshire Council which is shedding light on the artistic process, unpacking resources and sharing experiences and performances via Glow (Scottish Schools Intranet).
Using new Soundbeam 5 technology and the Figurenotes notation system, pupils are taking part in creative music making sessions which are designed to be fully accessible for Kilpatrick School’s pupils with Additional Support Needs.
The project is funded jointly by Creative Scotland and Learning Teaching Scotland as part of their Co-create initiative and outcomes are being shared through the new Creativity Portal set up by both bodies to provide a collaborative environment for practitioners and inform, inspire and encourage debate around creativity.
