Drake Music Scotland HQ orchestrated its day to the tune of sticking and snipping thanks to a fantastic team of volunteers who’ve been busy making Figurenotes magnets.
The magnetic shapes are an invaluable tool in our Figurenotes project as they provide a portable and flexible teaching resource for musicians and teachers as well as enable learners to experiment with composition.
And, with each note of the musical scale given its own colour, different shapes signaling different octaves and note lengths, there are literally hundreds of permutations!
A big thank you to our hard-working volunteers Allan, Anne, Caragh, Dorothy and Tony and to our Associate Musician Caitlin Mulgrew.
